OUR STORY

The promises

“We will share the world’s light and warmth.” OLIM Eye Clinic Gangnam practices by four principles: research, trust, expertise and giving back.

POINT 01

Surgery that isn’t needed,
we don’t do

Every patient gets a one-on-one treatment plan. After examining your eyes, we recommend only the surgery you need. If you don't need surgery, we won't do it.

  • One-on-one treatment plans
  • Only the surgery you need
  • Patient-centered care
POINT 02

Detailed exams,
careful surgery

With 23 devices for testing, surgery and treatment, we care for everything from vision correction to cataract, presbyopia and glaucoma.

  • Dry eye clinic
POINT 03

No one should lose their sight
for lack of money

We fully cover medical costs for facilities for people with multiple disabilities, socially vulnerable groups and missionaries, and donate 10% of our profits. This is a long-held belief at OLIM Eye Clinic Gangnam.

  • 10% of profits donated
  • Medical costs fully covered
  • Community medical service

02 Trust

We put trust between
patient and doctor first

We have a patient-centered system and approach each patient differently.

HOW WE CARE

From exam to aftercare,
we follow this order

Whatever the care, we check your eyes first and decide on treatment from the results.

  1. Eye exam

Detailed exams show the current state of your eyes. Whether to have surgery is discussed only after we see the results.

  2. One-on-one treatment plan

Even with the same myopia, corneal thickness, work and lifestyle differ. We propose a treatment plan for each patient.

  3. Only the surgery you need

We do not perform surgery that isn’t needed. If your eyes are better suited to ongoing care than surgery, we will tell you so.

  4. Regular checkups after surgery

Even after surgery, we keep monitoring your eyes with regular checkups.
